    Actually, that’s not at all the right way to open a banana. The _proper_ way is to use two hands, grab it from both ends, and just pull till it cleaves cleanly in the middle.

    You wind up with two perfect half-bananas that look like they were split apart with a fine-edged machete.

    You can eat one and save the other for later, or a friend, or flinging. Whatever.
